"Undesirables"
During World War 2 the Nazi Party, led by Adolf Hitler, encouraged prejudice, against Jews and other 'undesirables', or those that were not of the "Aryan" race. Therefore the Nazi's created the "Final Solution" which was a plan created to rid of all the Jews. They decided the best way of going forth with their pan they would have to create places called "Concentration Camps". Here they would "exterminate" them by the hundreds and even by the thousands so that they would not pass on their genes and disrupt the Nazis' quest for the perfect race.
Prior to being put into these concentration camps all the Jews were moved into very small neighborhoods called ghettos. Here they were only amongst other Jews- and it was a type of holding place for them until they were transported to the concentration camps. They lived in horrible conditions and soon Jewish children could not go to school with German children. Jewish businesses were forced to close, and Jewish temples were burned and vandalized.
Once they reached the "Concentration Camps" all their belongings were taken away, men and women were split, and it was off to "selection". They were no longer who they once were, in this place they were only a number, a number that was tattooed onto their skin to mark them forever. Here they chose who would get to live and who was sent off to the crematorium. If you were not sent off to the crematorium you were worked to death. Jews spent their lives starved, in the dirt amongst the weak and the sick under disgusting inhumane conditions. Whether it was below freezing level or under the scorching sun, surrounded by corpses.
They were not only worked to death, beaten and starved, but they were also experimented on. Painful experiments that affected their lives forever and even killed them. And although the Nazi's did not achieve their goal, they still managed to brutally murder millions of Jews and other in a display of cruel, sadistic, inhumane acts.
