The War
The Second World War was the most deadly, destructive and consequential war in history. About 17 million soldiers died in battle and about 30 million civilian deaths were recorded just in the Soviet Union and China. World War 2 can be traced back to the first World War where Japan, Italy, and Germany suffered from economic problems.
The struggle to uphold appeasement only made things worse, only increased the tension between everyone. Constant conflicts took over the whole world, turning everyone against each other however countries also decided to join forces. Thus inevitably leading to war.
